Go to NotebookLM and open or create a notebook.
Upload your source documents (PDFs, docs, links, etc.).
Click on Notebook guide (bottom right) and generate the Audio Overview (the podcast).
Option A (Your Way): Download the audio file from NotebookLM, upload it to your Google Drive, and change the file's sharing settings to "Anyone with the link can view."
Option B (The Shortcut): NotebookLM now allows you to generate a public shareable link or embed code directly for the audio player. Check if that option is visible on your audio card first!
If you stick with Google Drive, the "Copy to new tab" step is where people usually get stuck. Here is the exact way to get the embed code:
Double-click the audio file in Google Drive to open the preview player.
Click the three vertical dots (More actions) in the top right corner.
Click Open in new window.
In the new window, click the three vertical dots again.
Select Embed item... and copy the HTML <iframe> code.
Paste that code into your website's HTML editor.
β οΈ Quick Tip: Google Drive audio embeds work great for blogs or basic websites, but they don't generate an RSS feed. If your goal is to get this podcast onto Apple Podcasts or Spotify, you will eventually need to upload the downloaded file to a free podcast host like Spotify for Podcasters or Acast instead of Google Drive.
